We started buy focusing on 2 major keywords – cars wallpapers and car wallpaper, these keywords are searched over 200k times a month according to google’s adword keyword tool, we’ve deleted all pages and wallpapers on the site and started fresh – we’ve added wallpapers systematically each week to get on google’s radar. The next step was rewriting the meta descriptions, meta titles and keywords for the site and setting up the automatic generation of these items.

The last step was to make people aware of our site and by building a good number or relevant back links, from top end sites in this niche, by the end of April we where page 2 on the top of page 2 of google’s natural rankings for the keywords we where targeting as well as hd cars wallpapers, hd car wallpaper and hd cars ( to our surprise as well), we’ve continued to get more back links to the sites, social bookmarking links and also press releases.

Starting the month of June we are in the top 5 websites for cars wallpapers, car wallpaper and we are on page 2 for cars wallpaper, page 1 for hd cars, hd cars wallpapers and this on all google pages not just .com, on some google pages like .co.uk or .ro we are actually in the top 3.

We’ve reached over 1 mil impressions a month on google ( seen via google webmasters ) the traffic has increased by 1000% withing 6 months.
